[comp.os.msdos.misc] MiniScribe 9380E

johnson@EA.USL.EDU (10/16/90)

I'm working for a company who has a Gateway machine with a MiniScribe 9380E
(329 MB formatted) hard drive. I need to prep, partition and format this
thing, but I can't find their software for doing so. The company said
to try Diskmanager for the miniscribe. Anyone know where I can get it?

Thanks

Diskmanager should have came with any Miniscribe hard
drive which has more than 32MB of available storage.
Miniscribe, or I should say Maxtor, included Diskmanager so
that the larger hard drives can be completely used by DOS 3.3
or earlier (ie so that all of the storage on the hard can be
accessed - not just 32MB).
Where do you find it? Almost any owner of a Miniscribe
hard drive would have Diskmanager. But be sure to get
the version of Diskmanager for the Miniscribe drives.
