[comp.os.msdos.misc] Connor IDE drives and AMI BIOS

If you have an AMI BIOS dated around 09/15/90 or earlier then it may be a 
problem with the BIOS.  I don't know the details but there is something 
odd with the 80 Mb Conner IDE drive and it's interaction with that 
particular AMI BIOS.  Answer in this case (if it is the problem) is to 
upgrade your BIOS to a newer one.  Hope this helps.
