[comp.os.msdos.misc] C-shell with file-expansion on dos?

wyle@inf.ethz.ch (Mitchell Wyle) (12/01/90)

There are a lot of Public-domain Unix shells for MS-DOS on the local
bbs's here. I have examined conch, shell1.2 and ms_shell1.62.
ms_shell is a great Bourne-shell interpretter and has history
substitution but no FILE NAME expansion. File-name expansion (from
bash, Sun-OS, Ultrix, and post 4.3 BSD Unix's (modern BSD C-shells) is very
secuctive. I have become used to banging that <ESC> key to expand long file
names automatically.

Could someone point me at a C-shell (preferably PD) on dos which has
file-name expansion? I'd be much obliged.

Just get ANARKEY and add it on top of your favorite SHELL.

It has super unix-style (and much better, too!) file/command completion.
