A while ago, somebody posted a table of what archiving programs work on what computer systems (PC, Mac, Unix, VMS). Does anyone have an updated list?? Also, is anyone keeping a list of what diskette formats (BACKUP, TAR, BAR, FASTBACK+,IMOVE, etc) can be read on what machines? And any comments about what is the best format for diskette interchanges of data (i.e. most universal, compact, reliable). So far 3.5" 720Kb MSDOS format seems the most universal, but unsuited to large data files. Is it time for (yet another) standard?
