[comp.os.msdos.misc] VDISK that uses XMS memory + QEMM386 for a 286?

levericw@cheetah.ece.clarkson.edu (Walden Leverich) (02/05/91)

I am lloking for a Virtual Disk driver that will use xms memory for
its storage. Where can I get one?

Also, is there a version of QEMM386 for the 286? I need to expand my
base memory.

Thanks,

Walden

If you are wanting to load TSRs and device drivers in high memory you
can get Quarterdeck's QRAM which is for 286s. Or DR-DOS 5.0 will also
load stuff high including DOS (as much as 620K free).
