From 76702.1361@CompuServe.COM Mon Feb 25 08:38:13 1991 >No, we knew about all your reports. And go ahead and post the number -- >that's what I'm here for!! > >You won't be getting an update notice -- you'll be getting the update -- >and docs -- for no charge -- to compensate for the delay .... > > Ok everyone. If you want to E-Mail Chip Rabinowitz (the new owner of TCXL) about bug reports or problems you have in the TCXL software, here is his Compu$erve account. Send a message to 76702.1361@CompuServe.COM. He said it takes about 2 hours for it to get on C$ and he reads mail about every hour. The second paragraph above means that registered users of TCXL 5.51 will be getting 5.52 as he says "for no charge". I talked to Chip on the phone and he said that it's been much improved over these intermediary versions. This is the major bug fix until 6.0. Disclaimer: Everything I said above about TCXL are what I paraphrased from the discussion with Chip Rabinowitz. If there is any conflicting information between him and me, then his is the last word. Well shoot, I tried to send this message to multiple groups, but either I did it wrong or this news reader can't process comma delimited newsgroups... Anyway, if you wish to send error reports to Chip Rabinowitz (the new owner of TCXL) or feature requests or whatever, Chip is available through a gateway into Compu$erve. Send any messages to: 76702.1361@CompuServe.COM. It takes about two hours to process through the gateway and he reads his mail hourly (or tries to). So expect some sort of delay when sending mail.
