IO92203@MAINE.BITNET (Scott Maxell) (02/19/91)

I received a mail file telling me about a programmers editor called
Qedit I believe, but I lost the file and don't know where to get it.
Can anyone tell me where I would find it?? Thanks in advance...

Yep. Its on the simtel archives - wsmr-simtel20.army.mil. It used to be
in <msdos.editors> there, but now there seems to be a directory
<msdos.qedit>, and qedit21.arc is there.

for those of you curious, QEdit is the best text/program editor I've ever
seen. Its small in size (60k?) and LARGE on features - macro language, fast
editor, swap to disk on shell, etc etc.

Hi...

I'm using the Qedit 2.11 too and you're absolutely right: he's the best.
But have you heared of a new release..? Perhaps with mouse or some
formatting options..?
