Anyone know of a software FPU emulator for the IBM PC 386-33 that will work with AutoCAD 11? Where can I get it? Thanks, Brian

There is 387.zip in the sysutl directory on simtel20. Unfortunately, it's cripple-ware, and doesn't include all the 387 commands (the full blown version does, supposedly). A friend tried it with acad 10, but I would imagine that the acad11 uses pretty much ALL of the commands available to the 387 (such as sines and such). Also, the registration was EXTREMELY steep (but then, it was given in German marks, any know the current exchange rate?), but it might be worth a try. It's the only one that I know of that tries to do all the 387 stuff. -- Mike Castle (Nexus) S087891@UMRVMA.UMR.EDU (preferred) | XEDIT: Emacs mcastle@mcs213k.cs.umr.edu (unix mail-YEACH!)| on a REAL Life is like a clock: You can work constantly, and be right | operating all the time, or not work at all, and be right twice a day. | system. :->
