MS-DOS Kermit v3.10 supports terminal emulation types of: . VT320 (with significant extensions taken from VT340's, but no Regis graphics), International Edition with all the DEC character sets and builtin mechanisms to extend them, Code Page sensitive, . VT102, . VT100, . Specialized version of VT100 for Honeywell mainframes, . VT52, . Heath/Zenith 19, . Tek 4014 with a host of extensions taken from HDS 2000/3000, DEC VT340 Sixel, and others, does things in color too, TIFF graphics dump files. > > - does it support autodialing for phone modems ? Yes indeed, via scripts. Don't forget about plenty of network support when you are in the office. And don't forget it can be run by folks who have impairments with seeing, hearing, and/or motor control (with their auxillary helpers such as screen-speakers, etc: it can be run with a single pencil if necessary). > > - from which ftp site can I get it ? All official Kermit material is distributed from Columbia University. Use anonymous ftp to watsun.cc.columbia.edu 128.59.39.2. Bitnet is also available. Look in directory kermit/a for the MS* material. Be sure to obtain MSR310.PCH which holds the latest run time patches. The Users Manual is a paperbound book, "Using MS-DOS Kermit" by Christine Gianone, Digital Press and Prentice Hall, 1990, about US$29, available also from Columbia University. Kermit on floppy is included. Joe Doupnik, jrd@cc.usu.edu > > Thanx for infos ............... > > bye ....................................................................
