[comp.os.msdos.misc] Has anyone tried to load DOS from servers

I want to load DOS 4.1,Lotus 1-2-3,and other niceties iw Windows 3 say
onto may different
machines.The m/c 's have all ethernet devices and hard disks 40-80mb.
 Instead of having someone load floppies into xxxx number of systems I
would like to
 copy the DOS files from a server ie virtual disks to the local hard
disk on the 
client for each config.
 Now the config would not change that much ie 2mb of mem,1 floppy,1 hard
disk,1 ethernet,
 Mouse,keyboard etc... but the software may ie maybe DOS `+Lotus or
DOS+LOTUS +Windows
 or other applications.

 I need some type of automatic system as the number i need is ridiculous
for a human to do,and 
 if it's repetitive then a computer is what you need !!

  Any ideas welcome for  ahack at and then perhaps put bells and whistles on.
