There is a lot of freeware available from ftp sites. When I want to download some program for UNIX , I have no problems. They arise when I want to get a program for DOS. Majority of files are in .zoo format. How am I supposed to download them ? Should I send them to UNIX , unarchive and then transfer to the DOS ? Or I should send xxx.zoo to the DOS and then use analog of zoo program there ? One more question , how can I download file directly from ftp-site to IBM PC ? There are KERMIT , PROCOMM , etc , but they look more like TELNET , than like FTP. It seems , that I cannot log in as 'anonymous' from the login: prompt.
