Hi, I was thinking of buying a soundcard for my pc compatible... and I guess have nearly settled on a CMS Soundblaster... My budget is about 160$ or less.. Could someone please tell me the best place to buy that card from...or if you know of a card with similar capabilty below that price... Does the sound blaster have stereo music? Is there any place which sells the adlib for below 80$... all details appreciated... Thanks.. I used to have and AdLib, rather I still do. I replaced it with a Soundblaster for about $170 and I am glad I did. The digitized sound on Soundblaster can't be beat for the price. As far a stereo sound - the Soundblaster only has stereo if you add the CMS chips ($29.95 extra). This was not the case with the original Soundblaster which came with the CMS chips. I've heard the CMS chips and plan to buy a set. Mike
