I'm not sure that this is exactly the correct group to mail to, but it is related to downloading files via mailers for msdos, and I don't read any of the sys admin type groups. I have two problems: 1. With garbo.uwasa.fi I'm using the script (UNIX): mail -s "garbo-request" mailserv@garbo.uwasa.fi << $1 and including the send pc/... messages in the $1 script. However,the mailer is not seeing the subject line. Can anyone tell me what is perhaps wrong? 2. With the Trickle server. When receiving large files they are often corrupted by the splitting mechanism, a spurious header appearing in the middle of the uuencoded text. After trying all kinds of deletions I still couldn't get the files to decode properly. I should report this directly to the server people, but I have no address for problems, so I'm hoping that they will pick this up, or someone will give me the address to forward this.
