[comp.os.msdos.misc] Borland Turbo Technix - what happened to it?

acunger@netmbx.UUCP (Arnie Unger) (05/08/91)

I used to received a nice computer rag called Borland Turbo Technix. It
came free for 1 year with a purchase of a Borland product. Looking back
over my collection, the most recent issue I have is Sep/Oct 1988. Can
someone tell me if the publication ceased? If so, it's too bad. I'm
finally at the level where it makes some sense to me! If not, how can
I get it again?

No! No! Nein, was not head of Gestapo at all! I make joke."

Yes, it isn't published anymore. Jeff Dunteman (I'm sure that isn't
the correct spelling!) who used to be the editor now has a magazine
called PC Techniques. It's good.

It died before it was even able to publish its 1st year anniversary issue.
Jeff Duntemann, the former editor-in-chief, has a new, better mag called
PC Techniques(I think), should be avaliable at newsstands that carry a lot
of computer programming mags.

Forgot to mention in my previous post, so this is a good time. The
magazine is in scottsdale AZ. Information has the number.
