Hi to those gurus in msdos/windows, I have a few problems in windows, for which I hope to find a quick solution. The problems are listed as follows. Some of them might real stupid, but for mysake, please answer them if you know. (I have been using MS dos for quite a few years now, but started using Windows 3.0 only a few weeks back) Thanks in advance... Sri.....Chalasani /------ Problem 1 ------/ As you know, the application "PaintBrush" which comes with the windows package, I had a small problem with it. One of my profs. after using it accidently "deleted" the application. With the help of "Norton Utilites 5.0" (quick unerase), I was able to recover the file. But the problem araised when I could "not" get the "ICON" for the paint brush back. The application ran when I executed it from the " file manager ". So after trying all possibilites and trying to refer to the manual, I finally got fed up and talked to our University (business college) Computers in-charge regarding the icon stuff. He said that there was no way but to reinstall the application. But, I think there is/should be a way to get the Icons back instead of reinstalling the total software. Any suggestions...?
