This isn't a big deal or anything, but I can't get QBASIC (and, hence, EDIT) to run on this T1000 laptop of mine! It has no hard drive, so I installed the DOS to four 3.5" floppies. After the program loads, the drive stops spinning and just sits there, requiring a reboot. Anyone else have this problem? This is IBM's DOS I'm using. Fortunately, this is NOT my main PC-compatible! I'm just curious about why I'm having this problem. :-) Mark C. "Bro!" Lowe - KB5III

You don't have ROM BASIC. You wanted MS-DOS 5.0. -- bill davidsen (davidsen@crdos1.crd.GE.COM -or- uunet!crdgw1!crdos1!davidsen) GE Corp R&D Center, Information Systems Operation, tech support group Moderator comp.binaries.ibm.pc and 386-users digest.
