I just put DOS 5.0 on my 386dx-25 ah-so clone. When HIMEM.SYS tries to load, it complains that it can't control the A20 line, therefore it doesn't load and DOS is loaded low. Under DRDOS5.0 with Windows 3.0's HIMEM.SYS, it works fine. The board in question is a "80386 AT system Board (OPTi version). The BIOS is AMI EOX-1109-083090-KF. I suppose I could go through the gyrations of trying different /machine settings, but does anybody have any suggestions as to what I can do?
