I have been having problems with my Logitech mouse and was wondering if anyone knows of any solutions. The mouse cursor intermittently locks up. This happens in various programs (Windows V3.0, "Jones in the Fast Lane" by Sierra, etc.). it has been happening off and on under DOS V3.21 and seems to be occuring more often now that I've switched to DOS V5.0. I have downloaded the latest Logitech driver (V5.1?) and it still happens. I use HIMEM.SYS, but, not SmartDrive. I have FILES=40 and BUFFERS=20,8. I have tried loading MOUSE.SYS and MOUSE.COM, but, it seems to make no difference. I have changed the order of where I load the mouse driver, also, to no avail. I am running on a clone '286 w/ 2MB, Trident SVGA, and a serial mouse on COM2. This also happened when I was running with an EGA monitor also. Any ideas? --- Barry L.
