:On a PC, Is there a way to enable hardware flow control on a com port
:(ie com1)? In addition, is there a way to set baud rates higher than
:9600? I am currently using a version of kermit that allows baud rates
:up to 38400, but the flow control options are either XON/XOFF or none.

You should read comp.protocols.kermit. In the article that arrived here
today (Weds, 27-Jun), it mentions a new KERMIT for IBM/PC that can do
SET FLOW RTS/CTS.
