Sorry for this blunder! I forgot to edit the Subject line before posting. Here is my last article. Baskaran. I am using a MicroSoft Mouse (Bus version, not an InPort mouse), to collect reaction time data in an experiment. I am using hardware interrupt to detect a button press which runs an ISR to get the time from a MetraByte Counter/Timer card. The problem is, the interrupt rate for the mouse is so slow that I have only a 30ms resolution. Is there a way of increasing the interrupt rate for this mouse? You can do this for a MSoft InPort mouse by using a command line switch /R4 while loading mouse.sys; this sets the interrupt rate to 200Hz (once every 5ms). I would appreciate any suggestions from the netters. Thanks, Baskaran.
