BRAD@SU-CSLI.ARPA (Brad Horak) (03/09/86)

Sorry for the wide distribution, but this stuff COULD show up at a
Deerfield, MA. flea! --Brad N6BDE

                 VHF/UHF AMATEUR GEAR STOLEN!!!

The following equipment was stolen from Kit Blanke's (WA6PWW) truck while
visiting Glen Thomas (WB6W) Thursday, Mar. 6. The Milpitas, CA. police have
this info, too (Milpitas PD Case #86-4704). If anyone finds any of this
stuff, they should contact the Milpitas PD at (408)942-2400, or Kit at
(home)408-263-8944 or (work)408-987-9669. Thanks.

Kenwood TH41-AT w/large battery pack. Serial #5060830

Kenwood TM-401A 440 MHz transceiver. Serial #4031165

Kenwood TM-201A 2-meter transceiver. Serial #3122014

ICOM IC-3AT 220 MHz HT w/BP-8 battery. Serial #14902168

Tempo S-1 2-meter HT w/o a battery. (Milpitas PD has Serial #)

NOTES: The TH41-AT and IC-3AT have charged batteries, so someone could
show up on the air with them.

The Tempo S-1 has Glen Thomas' driver's license number and
OLD call (WB6YZI) engraved in the bottom.

The TH41-AT has Kit's call written in indelible ink on the radio.
It is on the back of the radio, and only visible when you remove
        the battery pack.

The TM-201A has no antenna connector on it. The connector was
yanked off when the radio was removed from the truck. (The
connector hangs from the back of the radio on a coax pigtail.
The pigtail broke, so there would now be a short piece of coax
coming out of the radio with no connector on it.)
