------- Very early this morning (like 1100Z) I worked T21ZK on 7001. He's on Tuvalo, a rock in the Pacific near the date line/equator. According to the oldest logbooks I have around, this was VR8 before it was T2. The question is: back when the world was flat, was this place known as something more familiar--like Gilbert Island, or some such? It appears to be a new one for me, but I've got DX cards from over 20 years of operating and I'm not sure how to sort this one out. Also I need his QSL info. The newest Callbook only shows T2AXX type calls, none with a ZK in them. Thanks in advance for any help. 73--Jim, K6ZH. P.S. The sunspot info is "in the mail" for those who requested it. -------
