------- This current sunspot peak has netted me a few interesting catches at 0200Z plus/minus 15 minutes the past two nights from San Diego. UI8OAE on 14.025 BY5RA on 14.010 UM8MFB on 14.215 SSB UA9YE on 14.190 SSB (Zone 18) AP2MQ on 14.175 SSB Two goodies "got away" but were working west coast stations: VU2CK on 14.181 UJ8SAD on 14.170 Really excellent openings! I worked the above with a barefoot transceiver and a 3-el. tribander at about 30 feet. Moral of the story--give a listen on 20 at your local sunset the next couple of days! 73--Jim, K6ZH P.S. Thanks to all of you who requested a copy of the "sunspots of the future" article--it'll be in the mail (and I mean U.S. Mail in this case) by the end of the week. -------
