[net.ham-radio] Combining High Power AM Transmitters

lej@spar.UUCP (Luis E Jenkins) (03/21/86)

Hello, this is not a typical question, I guess, but does
anyone have references to, or experience with, the problems
found in practice (and the solutions!) when combining two 50kw
(yes, 5.0e+3) AM transmitters to operate in parallel?

And no, they are definitely not in my backyard!
This question comes from my brother who does not have access
to the net. The transmitters are somewhere in Central or
South America.

Thanks!

	Luis

Oops!, I meant 50.0e+3, of course ...
