pkasaty@telesoft.com (Peter Kasaty @second) (08/12/90)
I have a combination hard/floppy controller that I want to turn off
the floppy controller part, so that I can use a separate floppy
controller that can handle a 3 1/2 inch drive. I want to retain the
Xebec controller for now since I don't want to reformat my Seagate
hard drive.
I was told that the card can handle two hard and two floppy drives; it
has three sets of jumpers: W3 (4 pairs of pins), W4 (8 pair), and W5
(4 pair). The card appears to be manufactured 1/18/85 and it is also
stamped 4/17/85 (a chip on it is labeled "106022E ST225").
Any one have documentation or know how to set the jumpers?
Thanks in advance.
