Hi, I'm using an IBM XT clone. I've expanded (extended?) my memory to 1024k but now I've been told that I can only use this memory as a ram drive and not for programs (like PC-CACHE which has an extended/expanded memory option or with DOS's VDISK.SYS only with a special ram-disk driver). Can this be true? It sounds strange that the memory exists but can't be recognized by any of my system utilities (Norton's SI for instance). If it is true does anybody have a program which does give access to this memory (at list for caching the drives) because the RAM-DISK program (called CDISK.SYS by the way) does have access to this memory and the memory checking routine at start-up does check it. Any help would be appreciated. thanks Zongi PS: Please mail answers to S26604@BARILVM.BITNET
