It sounds like that there are quite a lot of 386 16Mhz machines around
which are built on a mother board which can be hardware switched (on my
NEATsx board using a jumper switch). I recently bought my machine, and
reading the manual I also wondered about the possibility to have the
386SX run at 20Mhz. Has anyone tried it yet?
The next question then of course is what about the 16Mhx 387
math co-processor setting next to my 386 chip?. Is it same thing here
that it if it seems to work than all is probably fine?.
So much for Intel not wanting to come out wih a faster 386SX chip.
