[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] Meaning of APO etc.

In many ads these letter combinations are seen:

  * APO
  * FPO
  * Pal

What do they mean?
Do they have anything to do with orders from
foreign countries?

The answers might be obvious for someone living
in the US, but I live in Sweden and cannot figure
it out.
