I have an AST RAMPAGE 286 memory board, it came along when I bought my computer, it has only 1Mb installed but there are room for 2Mb on board. I have only used it as an EMS ramdisk, since I didn't think it could handle XMS. Recently I've learned that the card is capable of XMS. The problem is that I have no specifications on the card, so I don't know how to install it as extended. There are two dip-switches on the edge of the card, one 10-switch and one 8-switch, I guess they must be configured some way, but how ? Or do I need some sort of software driver to enable extended mode ? My programs have there own drivers but they can't find any XMS. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
