This is posted for a friend, please respond to him directly via email at: dlundste@ncube.com _______________________________________________________________________ I have a Packard Bell PC-XT clone that is only about 1 1/2 years old. When I power up the system, the thing dies in RAM self-test and displays the following message: RAM Testing . . . 129 KB Bad RAM at 2062D = FBh, expected = FFh Error. Press F1 key to continue. I guess I have a bad memory chip. Removing the motherboard and replacing the bad chip would be no problem, but how do I identify the correct chip? Any help you can give me is appreciated.
