I have a system here with both 3.5 and 5.25 floppy drives in it, and two connectors off the floppy controller. I now need to add a mountain QIC-40 tape drive that works off the floppy controller also. I have seen dealers advertise a special cable that allows three drives to be supported. Is this 'three drive' cable compatible with any ISA machine? Are special drivers required for the third device? What is the specification for the cable? I can find lots of references to the pinout on the header and connectors for hard drives, but have not found similar info for floppy drives. Any help would be appreciated. Please E-mail replys, I will post a summary. Joe Gervais joeg@starfish.convergent.com (408)434-2049
