Hello, I ran into some problems with my AT machines. First, my generic clone 10 Mhz 286, does not keep the time and date properly. I used the p.d. program CMOSER to examine the cmos data, and everything was ok, except the time and date. The program deliberated that my battery was ok, eventhough I measured it to have half its rated voltage. Then I used the same program on a Tandy 1000 which has a hardcard. The Tandy boots occasionally - the drive does not even spin up - and the program indicated that the battery is dead. All other info, except again the time and date, were correct. The battery was replaced, but the program reports a dead battery, and the system still functions erratically. What could it be happening? I haven't got a clue. If anybody could give me a few pointers, I'd appreciate it. Vassilios E. Axaris
