For better or worse, my girlfriend's sister bought a PC Jr. when they first came out. Her floppy disk drive is starting to go out, so I offered to replace it (which I assume is a fairly simple job). She said that she is also having problems because the new version of her wordprocessor will not run because she doesn't have enough memory (she thinks that she only has 128K). I know nothing about the PC Jr. other then the little I remember from the original press reports. For those of you who are familiar with the machine, I would like to know what is the best way to add memory? I assume that it currently has 64K chips. Can I replace those chips with 256K chips (if so, what speed)? Will it take standard PC cards and if so, can I add a memory card to expand it to 640K? Any help would be appreciated. I don't normally read this news group, but I will check it for the next couple of weeks so you can either send me mail or post if you think that it is of general interest.
