I will be driving to Chicago via Trans-Canada 1 around the labor day weekend.
I have a place to stay in Chicago. I will be attending the [shudder]
World Science Fiction Convention there. However, does anyone have suggestions
on inexpensive or downright cheap places to stay, or things to see,
along Trans-Canada 1? Any advice on driving in Chicago [other than don't--
I know, but I must]? How does Chicago compare? I'll be returning in rather a
hurry, probably via I-80, I-84. Any real "must see" attractions or bargins
motels along that route?
