A friend of mine is having problem with her IBM-AT. When the machine is booted, it says something about CMOS setup (wrong disk type ... etc). After we hit <del> to run the CMOS setup, it gives 3 options : Exit to boot, run CMOS setup, run CMOS diagnostic. We tried the CMOS setup, but it doesn't respond to ke keyboard (We had to reboot it agian). CMOS diagnostic shows that the keyboard works okay. We can't boot the machine from drive A: since the setup shows that there is no drive A: only drive B: Now we're stuck .... Help... (To make things more compilcated, after several minutes the screen just went blank. If we rebooted it right away the screen is still blank, we had to wait for a while :-( anybody had the same problem -- budi -- Budi Rahardjo <rahardj@ccu.umanitoba.ca> <rahard@ee.umanitoba.ca> <rahard@budi.ee.umanitoba.ca> Electrical Engineering - University of Manitoba - Canada
