[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] Original IBM EGA card

roy%cybrspc@cs.umn.edu (Roy M. Silvernail) (09/17/90)

I have an original IBM EGA card that I got at a swap meet. It has 64k of
memory on board, 4 dip switches and 2 daughterboard connectors. (need I
add that it came without any docs? :-)

I'd like to find out what the switches control (I'm running on a CGA
monitor, and got it working by trial and error), and whether the memory
can be expanded. I think the daughter connectors are for memory, but
there are no notations on the board. Does a memory daughtercard for this
thing still exist (if indeed it ever did)?

Thanks in advance. I'll summarize any e-mail, if there's any interest in
antiques. :-)
