Maybe someone out there can help me. I have an XT compatible running on a passive backplane. What I am looking to do is to add a 386 or 486 processor board that has bus mastering capabilities. The backplane has 6 16 bit slots and 2 8 bit slots, so that is not really a major problem since I am not looking for a 32-bit address line at this point. Does anyone know if INTEL's 386/PC supports bus mastering? Or does anyone know of other manufacturers who make processor boards that have that capability? Thanks for any information that people come up with. Andrew Orndorff BQSY1 CIT Research & Analysis
