[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] Help with Profit Systems Memory Board

wallis@wsuiar.uucp (09/28/90)

	Dear IBM PC Users:

I have a Zenith Model 248 (a 286 PC) with a Profit Systems AT Power
board (1984 vintage) in it. I know nothing about the board, except that it
is a memory board with some extra ports on it. The Zenith SETUP in ROM
recognizes it as a Expansion Memory board with 4096K on it. My question is,
can I use this board with an application program that needs LIMS 4.0
compatible memory? Do I need a special driver? I would try contacting the
manufacturer, but I have no phone number for them (nor an address). I am not
an IBM PC person, so please forgive the nature of the question above. Any
pointers would be appreciated. Please respond directly to me, since I
normally do not normally read this group.

                    Thanks in advance,

                    Tom Wallis
                    (VMS and UNIX system administrator)
