[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] Math coprocessors

dd2x+@andrew.cmu.edu (David Eugene Dwiggins) (09/29/90)

I need a math coprocessor, but don't know which brand to buy,
Cyrix or Intel.

I need it for an 80386SX.

I welcome any comments about either product.

Has anyone compared one of the "new" intel coprocessors to a Cyrix
and an "old" intel?

Anyone found any compatibility problems with the Cyrix?

As always, thanks in advance,

David Dwiggins (dd2x@andrew)

I would recommend the 83S87 from Cyrix
