[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] Seiko 1450?

I've been seeing prices for the Seiko 1450 which are HIGHER
than the Sony 1304! What's going on? Isn't the 1450 just
a 1304 clone?

Not at all-- I've seen both and the Seiko seems to have a much sharper
image.  I believe the phospor dot pitch is the same on both-- .26mm--
but the video amplifiers in the Seiko seem better.  Also, I recall the
display area was larger on the Seiko.

I'v ebeen spoiled by my Seiko 1430, so if I were to buy a new
1024x768, non-interlaced monitor, I'd go for another Seiko....
