hello, I just received my Gateway 200 386 with ATI 1024 and an interlace 1024x768 VGA color monitor. When running windows at 1024x768, i have this problem that when you overlap two windows together, the color of a portion of the window fades, that's it, one portion of the window is much brighter than the rest. If you put the ovelapping windows inside the base window, it won't happen. This is getting very irratating, people at gateway 200 told me that it is due to the interlaced mode. They also said that all interlaced monitors have this problem to some degree, but I don't want to buy that. Can some knowledgeable netters tell me if that's true? Also, does the NEC 3D have this problem? I am considering getting a Nec 3D if it's doesn't have this problem.
