I will be moving to California at the end of the year - driving from Madison, Wisconsin. I will be leaving just after Christmas and will be going a Southern route for weather reasons. Any suggestions for an interesting route, things to see along the way, places to stop at, etc. I'm not really travelling as a vacation, but I don't feel like I have to really rush to get there either.
