Netters! I've seen reviews on hard discs, controllers, motherboards, graphics adaptors, monitors, etc., etc., but I can't remember seeing a review on power supplies! Based on some early experiences I learned that power supplies CAN be a very important component to consider, yet there seems to be little information on which to base a decision. Perhaps by now they are pretty much standard, but I doubt that. In fact a Gateway rep told me that one reason they initially didn't get Class B certification was their power supply (Kung Pao sp?) so they switched to Astec which I've heard some good things about. EPS, my other potential supplier at the moment, uses a Seasonic power supply. They say Seasonic is largest manufacturer in the world (that doesn't make them best, but EPS seems to choose good components).
