Hey, I've got a Paradise VGA 1024-512K SVGA card, and I want an answer. Actually, I got one, and I don't like it (doesn't mean it's wrong, though.) I want to know if this thing can do 800x600 256 colors. It's got the memory (512K) but the mode isn't listed in the documentation. The answer I got was, no, it can't do it, because Western Digital hate the mode for no good reason. Does anyone know if the situation is different, or if Paradise/WD plans to add this mode in the future, or am I going to have to get another card? I'm very pleased with the card (other than the fact it doesn't do that mode.) The display is better than real IBM PS/2 55SX's. Thanks! Erik Stiegler USENET (yech) It's in the header.
