Does anyone know if it is possible to add more memory to a Paradise vga 16 card. There are locations for 8 additional memory chips. I tried putting memory in (with sockets) but it just screwed up the video. A friend told me he had seen something on the net awhile back about how to do it. Can any one help? Are you using the same type of chips that are already on the board? If not, you must. Also, there maybe a jumper on your board. If you wish, you may wish to call Western Digital's Technical Support (makers of Paradise). You can call 800 directory information for their number. I don't have it on hand right now; sorry. __________ ___ / \ / / /_/ / /\/ _/ / / / __/. /__ / / / / / / / / "Happy Computing ..." / / Internet: Johnny.J.Chin@andrew.cmu.edu / ------- / 4730 Centre Ave. #412 BITnet: jc58@andrew \__________/ Pittsburgh, PA 15213 UUCP: ...!uunet!andrew.cmu.edu!jc58 Computer Dr. Carnegie Mellon University "If you don't like having backups ... try driving without your spare tire." ______________________________________________________________________________ Disclaimer: The views expressed herein are STRICTLY my own, and not CMU's.
