[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] I wanna buy one!

Well, I figure it's about time to time-shift to the present.
My $5000 DEC Rainbow died, and my Zenith dual-floppy system just doesn't
cut it anymore.

This is what I think I need:

386SX
1.2 + 1.4 Meg drives
2 Meg RAM (prefer 4)
60 Meg HD (prefer 80)
super VGA color

Total price < $2500.

My immediate applications will mostly be terminal emulation and word
processing (TeX). I may also do software development, although
the easiest route would be via modem to my Sparcstation at work.
(My programs are big and numerically intensive).

Suggestions and recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Rick
