Just a reminder, the Polaroid-Delta airlines special ends January 31. For the uninformed the special works as follows: buy a Polaroid 600 series camera and after sending Polaroid the proper forms you will receive a certificate "for FREE round-trip coach/night coach transporation on Delta for one person between any two cities in the US served by Delta when accompanied on the identical routing by a passenger paying the the unrestricted round-trip coach/night coach adult fare from Delta." Tickets must be purchased by April 30, but can be used through all of 1983 except certain holidays (3/24-26, 3/31, 4/3, 4/9-10, 11/23, 11/27, 12/22-24, 12/31). I am planning a honeymoon in San Francisco in the third week of May and found to my horror that super-saver fares for Indy-San Francisco are running almost $400 each. The best rate I could find for that time period was a Frontier airlines blend at about $350 each. Using the Polaroid deal I can get us both out there for $575 total. I will pay $555 for the unrestricted coach fare and have just paid a bit less than $20 for a Polariod Amigo 620. I think that this special will work for me - maybe it will help you. This is in reply to Ken Zabriskie's note about discount airfares from Indianapolis to San Francisco: He noted that the normal "supersaver" fare for TWO people roundtrip was 00 and that he could get it for 75 with the Poloroid deal. If time is not a factor, you might try Amtrak. For TWO people travelling in coach round trip the fare is 94 (if all travel is completed before 30 May). Upgrade to first class is 17 each way (for both people) [First class gives you a private room and a higher grade of service]. Michael S.
