[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] PArtions on Hard Drives

grendel%halcyon.uucp@seattleu.edu (11/17/90)

I have a 10 meg and a 30 meg partition on my hard drive. I just upgraded
to DOS 4.01. Is there any way to remove the partion and get everything on
one drive (C:) without reformatting the entire deal?

No. You have to use the 3.3 FDISK to delete the two partitions.
Then you have to use the 4.01 FDISK to make the whole disk one large
partition. THEN you can reformat the disk into one large disk and
put everything back on the disk.
