A few hard-core hacker friends and I would like to put together a work bench set of termination resistor packs. Simply because you never have them when you need them ... especially with flea market specials. We would like to cover common floppy drives, ST-506, ESDI and SCSI terminators. So: we're sitting with the Digi-Key catalog and trying to come up with a collection. To do this we need to answer the following questions for EACH drive interface listed above: 1. How many resistors in pack? (usually 8, but...) 2. How is each pack wired internally (parallel? etc.) 3. What are the most commonly used resistance values? Anyone care to help?
