Hi there ! I am in the process of hacking Seagate's ST-01 SCSI controller to work in a Motorola 68000 based machine - Commodore Amiga. I am looking for as much information as possible in programming this SCSI controller card. (BIOS level stuff would not work as it is not even running on a Intel CPU based machine.) I have read about a developer kit available from Seagate. Have anyone heard about it ? How much does it cost ? What is included ? If anyone have info on the subject or any pointers to where/how I can get more info, please EMAIL me. I am not a regular reader of this news group. (I can barely keep up with the comp.sys.amiga.xxx stuff.) Thanks in advance. K. C. Lee Elec. Eng. Graduate student at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada P.S. Availability, cost, performance, size (in that order) are the reasons why I choose ST-01 in favour over one of those SCSI chip in my design. If anyone know where I can buy SCSI chips (perferable with built-in FIFO) , please let me know. Email reply please !!
